We hold our own online stores to the same standard we offer you: host-level backups twice a day, a full site backup before every theme or plugin update, and every copy stored off-site.
We’ve had to restore our own stores after bad plugin updates, which is exactly why every update now goes to a clone of the site first and only reaches the live store once it’s been tested.
Our founder has also spent years helping large organizations recover from ransomware. The lesson is the same at any size: assume something will go wrong, and make sure you can recover fast when it does.
